We understand that leaving your child in the care of somebody else is a big decision, a decision which every parent needs to research thoroughly.
Hopefully the information contained in this website will make that research a bit easier. Of course if you can't find the information you require please contact us and our trained staff will assist you.

It is the aim of every-one associated with the centre to ensure that the welfare and needs of your child are paramount at all times. We will provide your child with a nurturing environment, state of the art facilities, fully trained qualified and caring staff.

At all times staff are available to speak with you and please feel free to ring the centre at any time during the day.

What is 5 Star Childcare & ELC Altona North?

5 Star Childcare & ELC is a brand new purpose built 110 place facility, ideally located only 10 minutes from the Melbourne CDB. The centre is only two minutes from the Melbourne – Geelong freeway and Western Ring Road off/on ramps. There are seven rooms catering for children from six weeks to five years of age. The children are separated by age as follows:

• 6 weeks – 1 year (approx), depending upon individual child and development needs.

• 1 year – 2 years (approx), depending upon individual child and development needs.

• 2 years – 3 years (approx), depending upon individual child and development needs.

• 3 years – 4 years (approx), depending upon individual child and development needs.

• 4 years – 5 years (approx), depending upon individual child and development needs.

The centre is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday. We are closed on Victorian gazetted public holidays and for one week over the Christmas and New Year period. (exact holiday dates will be confirmed each year)
